Just getting started at the club level? Want to try your hand at the
Quarter Horse shows? There's sure to be something to fit your goals!
Each season the JMQH show team participates in all the Area 3
Promotional Club Quarter Horse shows (local to central Ontario) as well
as a few shows further away in the Province such as Ilderton, Paris and
Carp.
For those just getting started - the All Novice Quarter
Horse Shows hosted by Area 3 and OQHA are very welcoming and informative
with clinics held throughout the show day.
And for those
exhibitors who are ready to move on to a more challenging show with
strong competition we also travel to Columbus Ohio for the Region 4
Experience and the prestigious All American Quarter Horse Congress each
October.
Jodi is so proud of her customers who have had success
at the Congress. It is such a challenging show from the stress of
competition to the crazy hours we keep - to have made the semi's,
the finals and to have had top 10 placings is an incredible achievement!
Jodi was thrilled to attend her first AQHA World show in 2009
with long time student Mackenzie Harvey and her horse EBG Certainly.
The Harvey family and Jodi travelled to Oklahoma City and had an amazing
experience at the AQHYA World show. The atmosphere is welcoming
and the competition is fierce. It was an incredible opportunity
for all involved and Jodi looks forward for the chance to attend again!
Whether heading out for a 5 day show or a single day show, we
try to make sure there is some FUN along the way! Helping each other out
is all part of the experience, and many new friendships are formed while
hanging around at the shows. We often try to go out together for dinner
or incorporate something fun like a "candy exchange" one night at the
show.
